Start looking online and going through magazines for hair styles that you like.  You want to start looking ahead of time to give yourself plenty of time to decide on a hair style for you.  Bring the pictures to your hair stylist to discuss with them regarding your hair type, length, etc. It’s also a good idea to bring a picture of your dress and head piece to your hair stylist to make sure the hair style goes with your dress.  About two weeks before you will want to do a trial run with the hair stylist.  Stay away from doing anything drastic to your hair…don’t do anything you will regret, such as cutting your hair short if you’ve had long hair.

To get that glowing look on your wedding day, start by taking care of your skin early on.  Wash regularly with a gentle cleanser and cool water, and moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.  You want your skin to be fresh, bright, and supple looking on your wedding day. Try a mask to reduce pores or redness, or work monthly facials into your routine.  A monthly facial will leave your skin feeling refreshed, bright, supple and beautiful.  They will also help reduce your stress levels.  For that sun-kissed natural glow, try doing a spray tan.  You should do a trial run a couple of weeks before the wedding; and then a couple of days before the wedding to tone down color or in case any areas need to be addressed.  Don’t forget about your teeth.  There are some great toothpastes out there that will whiten your teeth, or for more stubborn stains, try the whitening strips.  For difficult stains, seek the advice of a professional; your dentist can provide tooth whitening procedures that offer quick results.

Your skin will be in great shape, now you need to decide on your makeup.  Visit the makeup counters and test out some colors. Decide what shades you like or do not like on you.  Meet with a makeup consultant who can advise you on what colors will work best with your skin tones and hair.  Meet with the consultant a month or two prior to your wedding day for a trial run, to see exactly how you will look…and don’t forget the waterproof mascara!
